One of the cheapest Lasting Power of Attorney services in London + the UK!
Our cheap powers of attorney are just a fair priceWe often hear of people who pay hundreds of pounds for a single power of attorney. The reason law firms charge so much is because they are reasonably complicated and will not be simple to fill out for someone who has never completed one before.
Oliver's Wills Ltd is offering the same service as solicitors for a fraction of their prices. We are trained through the Institute of Professional Willwriters to complete and register LPA's for property and financial affairs as well as health and welfare LPA's. Our service is covered by a £2m indemnity insurance for peace of mind. We are trained to act as the certificate provider and will advise you fully, face to face, so that you have exactly what you need. If your LPA is complicated, we do not charge more! It amazes us that many solicitors charge a sky high fee and then say they LPA will cost more if it gets complicated! Not only do we charge a fair price, but we also offer half price wills when you take a will and an LPA together. Our London LPA feesFor the first LPA we charge £250. For a second person (e.g. a spouse) we charge £150. You will therefore pay £400 for two LPA's for a couple.
If you are taking the two different LPA's for one person, we charge £250 for the first (e.g. a financial LPA) and £100 for the second (e.g. the health LPA). A single person will therefore pay £350 for both LPA's. If a couple need the two different LPA's each, then we charge £50 per extra LPA, so all four will cost £500. This price is often less than a solicitor will charge for a single LPA! Please bear in mind that you will also pay £82 per LPA to register the LPA with the Office of the Public Guardian. Pricing is subject to vat. |
Lasting Power of AttorneyA lasting power of attorney is a very important document. Many people see them as a tool to help elderly relatives, but they are vital for anyone whose family will suffer financially should they become incapacitated through illness or accident. With one, almost every financial situation can be catered for. Without one and your finances could be frozen until a much more expensive path is taken to arrange for a suitable person to look after your affairs.
It is a common misconception that joint bank accounts can be used while one person has lost capacity - this is not the case and even joint bank accounts may be frozen by the bank until capacity is regained or an attorney is created. If capacity is lost before an LPA is created, the cost and issues rise dramatically. Call us now to book your appointment with a professional will writer - not just an instruction taker. All our clients are met by the person who will draft your documents. |
